Weekly Newsletter π°
We are continuing to build momentum in our learning as we move through February!
π’ Math β This week we started working on patterning, specifically growing patterns, as another way to help students understand and visualize multiplication. Recognizing how patterns grow helps students see number relationships more clearly and strengthens their overall math reasoning.
βοΈ Language β We are continuing with our writing focus, building clarity and detail in student work.
π Spelling Words β Diphthongs "aw" & "ou"
awesome, awkward, strawberries, yawns, chainsaw, claw, mountains, boundary, cloud, regrouping, south, bounce
π Science / STEAM β We are beginning to build bridges as we continue learning about forces and how to design strong, stable structures. Students will think carefully about how to build structures that can withstand different forces while remaining balanced and secure.
Have a great week! β Steve
